The next phase

OK all, we have another update before we start back on Monday. It is important you communicate with me if you have any questions, clarifications or requests with your training and how we approach in person sessions. As a facility that practices inclusion for all, it is important we work to protect everyone – including our most vulnerable community members –  to the best of our abilities.

In person sessions are able to resume for those that are vaccinated or hold a valid exception –  and of course everyone is welcome to join our online sessions.

The main update to the most recent restrictions is that we no longer have a density quota and masks are no longer needed in gym settings. You do need to carry a mask with you.

If you have concerns, or would like to request for me to wear a mask while in sessions with you please do not hesitate to contact me direct on 0405 622 270.

I also ask that you follow our states covid rules not only while attending in person at TrainFP, but also when you are out and about. We are a community and we are stronger together!

Please refrain from attending in person should you be experiencing any flu like symptoms OR have possibly been exposed to covid-19 until it is safe to return. Contact us as soon as possible if you receive a positive covid test. We continue to offer online options to you to train at home if you need.

Procedures and Policies

TRAINFP EXTRA SAFETY MEASURES: With our in person sessions, we want to make sure you know about all of the additional health and safety precautions we’re taking at TrainFP!

 

QR Code Checkin: In line with the VIC government covid policies every person that attends your business/venue must scan the QR code. These records will help with any future contact tracing that may be necessary in slowing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)

Vaccination Status: In line with the VIC government covid policies staff and members that attend must be double-vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will need to be either sighted each time (with your checkin) or emailed to info@trainfp.com.au prior to your first session.

Face coverings: Face masks are no longer needed within a fitness/gym setting. You are welcome to wear a mask if you wish and may request for Lisa-Marie to wear one while in session with you. You must still carry a mask with you at all times

UPGRADED CLEANING SCHEDULE: Equipment will be thoroughly disinfected throughout the day after each use. We’ve allowed for more time between sessions so we are able to clean equipment more effectively. 

This includes the regular cleaning of any surfaces that are used, doorknobs, handrails, front desk area, and any other surfaces or objects (ex. pens) that are touched throughout the day. 

 

UPDATED PROGRAMMING: We’ve updated our workout programming so you will be able to workout in your own dedicated space, and will not have to share equipment during your workout. 

 

MARKING THE AREA: We have marks on the floor to aid in social distancing. You’ll have plenty of space to workout in!  

 

HAND SANITIZER & DISINFECTING WIPES: These items will be readily available for your use throughout your sessions. 

 

TEAM SANITIZING: Our team will be sanitizing their hands when they arrive and leave, and also throughout the day after each class or coaching session. 

 

TRAINFP CLIENT PREVENTION:

We are in this together, and we need YOUR help as we reopen to keep our garage gym as safe as possible. 

Ensure Social Distancing is Observed: Stay 1.5m away from your coach and any workout buddies. 

Air High-Fives! As much as we LOVE high-fives in the studio, we’ll be doing air-high-fives for the time being. (or ask Cate about a ‘kettlebell five’)

Sanitizing: Please sanitize your hands up on arrival BEFORE and AFTER your workout. 

Keeping Equipment Clean: Please wipe down every piece of equipment each use (with our provided disinfectant wipes). Please do not share equipment with your workout buddies.

Please Stay Home If You’re Not Well: If you’re presenting with flu like symptoms, have been to an exposure site or are not feeling 100%, please stay home and rest or participate in our virtual sessions until you are feeling better. (Our team will also be following this policy!)

Please Avoid “Congregating” In Groups Before / After Class: We also are asking clients to avoid gathering in large groups before, during, or after their workouts. Again, this is because of social distancing guidelines. If you do want to chat with your fellow workout buddies, please ensure you maintain 1.5m between you.
